The Meadowood featured in Mansfield News Journal

We are excited to have The Meadowood, North Central Ohio’s rustic wedding venue featured in the Mansfield News Journal.    An excerpt from the article is below.

Cody Gerhardt has been halfway around the world and back again.

Gerhardt, a Butler native and 2002 Clear Fork graduate, and wife Sarah bought the Meadowood in late November after living in Colorado and Saudi Arabia.

The Gerhardts have big plans for the business, formerly known as the Meadowood Centre, located on a remote hill in Bellville at the edge of Mohican Country.

“It’s predominantly going to be a wedding venue,” Cody said.

The Meadowood also can be used as an event rental for family reunions, birthday parties, etc. The 53-acre property features one of the oldest barn structures in Richland County, along with a pond and a massive stone fireplace with attaching outside patio.

“Seclusion is one of the great things about this place,” Cody said.

The Gerhardts say their main goal is to maximize the potential of the Meadowood.
